Continuing on the topic of travelling, since that's what every interesting person wants to do, I wanted to throw this question to you all. Think back through all of the vacations you've spent, in whatever country, whatever state/province, whatever city/town. Why was this your favourite vacation? What about this place was so remarkable? Would you ever go back?
Things to think about along with this question:
When was this trip?
What time of the year was it?
How were the people?
What exactly did you to?
What features about this place made it unforgettable?
For me, I would have to say my time spent at the Niagara Falls. I remember the sound of the falls beating the waters below it. It was beautiful by sound and sight, especially when it's lit at night! I even went to the Skylon Tower, which had a wide array of foods to select from. It was August 2008. The people of Canada were very friendly, the little inn we stayed at was charming and the shoppes were full of so many interesting things! Canada is a wonderful place and I'd love to go back again, but this time to Montréal! (I'm a Francophile and I could practise my French here!
Thanks in advance to all of the comments ;)
