So rapping up on all of the general questions, before we get onto our first actual specific theme (which I promise I will be doing throughout this week), I wanted to ask about the people who you thought were the nicest throughout the several places all of you have visited throughout the world.
I want to go back on my trip to Canada, at the Niagara Falls (for the last time, I swear!). I seriously think that the people I've met there were simply the nicest out of all the places I've traveled to. They were very open and caring people. I don't remember too much on the specifics as it was four summers ago, but nonetheless I remember the laid-back attitude I felt when I was there, and I enjoyed it very much. It was very different than being in the United States.
And so my final question for this topic to you is, what place that you've visited had the nicest people?
Feel free to talk about the attitude or whatnot of people from other places you've been to, whatever seems interesting. Thanks to those who comment! :)

All About New York City!!!
Today I wanted to write about New York City. I was born and raised here, Brooklyn specifically, and I wanted to hear about people's thoughts and opinions over here. Personally, I love New York City. I must write about Brooklyn, where I'm from. Brooklyn is an amazing place with beautiful neighbourhoods such as Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Park Slope! Oh, so many fun memories, but there are many beautiful things about this borough and there is so much culture as well. But another thing I must focus on is what other people think about this amazing city.
There is my family from the Dominican Republic. They love the liveliness about this place and their primary focus is usually shopping, shopping and shopping for the latest trends in clothes and other merchandise. I have quite a few friends from Europe and their #1 destination to voyage to here in the States is NYC! When we converse over the Internet I sometimes get comments and questions about the City, such as "Is it just like in the movies?" Well, yes it is! And I must say I feel fortunate to be native to a place such as this :)
And so my question to you, what do you love about New York City? Feel free to write anything about any of the five boroughs!
And if you've never visited here before, would you, and why or why not?

What was Your Favourite Vacation?
Continuing on the topic of travelling, since that's what every interesting person wants to do, I wanted to throw this question to you all. Think back through all of the vacations you've spent, in whatever country, whatever state/province, whatever city/town. Why was this your favourite vacation? What about this place was so remarkable? Would you ever go back?
Things to think about along with this question:
When was this trip?
What time of the year was it?
How were the people?
What exactly did you to?
What features about this place made it unforgettable?
For me, I would have to say my time spent at the Niagara Falls. I remember the sound of the falls beating the waters below it. It was beautiful by sound and sight, especially when it's lit at night! I even went to the Skylon Tower, which had a wide array of foods to select from. It was August 2008. The people of Canada were very friendly, the little inn we stayed at was charming and the shoppes were full of so many interesting things! Canada is a wonderful place and I'd love to go back again, but this time to Montréal! (I'm a Francophile and I could practise my French here!
Thanks in advance to all of the comments ;)

If you could go to any country, what would it be, and why?
Hello everyone, this is just an open question. I figured I should start off this blog with a general question such as this one. So if you had a free week this summer where you had the choice to visit any country you wanted, where would you go? Feel free to be as specific as possible and let me know all the reasons why you would want to go there. Thanks in advance for all the comments.
Bon voyage !
